We're Not In Kansas Anymore

We went to Kansas last weekend to visit our good friends John and Ellen. We had a wonderful time with them! It was great to see their new house, small town, church, and the youth group- for which John is the pastor. We watched a very good movie- "Emma", played the game "Settlers of Catan"- which is cutthroat, had great food- friends had just given them half a cow, and went on walks without seeing more than one car pass us by- who, of course, waved at us. The weekend was a breath of fresh (country) air! Thank you John and Ellen for your hospitality.

And of course, I can't leave you deprived of a picture of Little Miss Miranda:o)
