To the ZOO!

We went to the Dallas Zoo with a couple of girlfriends and their kids yesterday. I was amazed with how Miranda lived it to the fullest! If there was something to pet she was petting it. Feed the sheep (aka three sheep mouths crowding one tiny hand)...no fear. Climb the slide and go down all by herself...no problem. Stick her head through this wooden cutout of an otter...sure thing. Running around with her 3 yr old friend, she insisted on holding hands. It was so fun seeing how she has grown in her abilities, her excitement, and her independence. AND we had a beautiful overcast, cool day...not very common for Dallas this time of year. Click on any of the pictures to see more.
