Sweet Pea
This is a tired Andie after she has just finished her peas, hence, the green tint around her mouth.

The other day on our walk we stopped to feed the birds some of Miranda's cheerios. As you can see they aren't shy. And Miranda wasn't either. Right after I took the above picture (with duck) I had to swat her hand down quick because the duck was coming for a tasty treat.
I love this pic! I guess it's because dolls were my world as a kid. I can just see Miranda playing house. Right now all she is concerned about is picking at the tuft of stringy stuff on this soft thing. Ya gotta start somewhere.
Miranda's new favorite game- I set a basket full of stuff in front of her and one by one she takes them out, examines them, tastes them, sets them aside and goes in for the next treasure. It's really fun to watch. She will go at this for quite a while totally consumed. Right now she is really into details, working on her fine motor skills. Tags on things are especially interesting.
Well, we are back from Indiana. Here are some pics from our trip. We had lovely fall weather and the trees were starting to turn. Here's Andie in her new hat from Grandma. We had a great time seeing the fam and once again Andie did superbly on the flights. Thank you to all who prayed. That jet engine noise does wonders putting a baby to sleep. I think ya could market that stuff. See you all again soon at Christmas. Andie will bring her hat.
I went to grab the camera to take a pic of Miranda in these lovely green overalls of mine (poor thing has to model all of my old clothes) and as I was taking pictures of her she started rolling across the floor. So I went to grab the video camera and caught half of her trek on tape. She hasn't been rolling from her stomach to her back since she learned to roll onto her stomach. Three months later she puts them both together and rolls about 5 times consecutively across the floor. I think she has been practicing in her crib because I have been finding her in all kinds of positions in there. She just wanted to wait until she had it down to surprise me. Well, she sure did! I'm a proud mama. (Click on the photo to view more pics of her rolling in those snazy green overalls.)
